How to Register for Houston 2018 Mission Trip

It’s about Jesus…just Jesus.  Being His hands/feet, ears/eyes, hearts/hugs for those in all phases of crisis restoration.

The Chicago Area Mission Partnership --CAMP--began in 2005 as a coalition of churches from northern Illinois serving the Gulf Coast Region following Hurricane Katrina. Nearly 300 CAMP volunteers have assisted in rebuilding lives in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Joplin, MO.

restoring the spiritual & physical needs

Hurricane Harvey dumped 19 trillon (with a T) gallons of water on the greater Houston area, destroying an estimated 30,000 - 40,000 homes and displacing 50,000+ people.  C.A.M.P. is partnering with Lutheran Church Charities and Trinity Klein Lutheran Church in Spring, TX to assist with the rebuilding efforts for the thousands who have found themselves un/under insured.

This mission trip is open to adults 18 and older and will include construction and outreach opportunities.  The construction scope of work is primarily drywall -- installing and finishing.  As with all reconstruction sites, the type and amount of work is very fluid, so worksites will be evaluated on a daily basis and volunteers dispatched accordingly.

NOTE:  If you have asthma, COPD, or other respiratory concerns, Trinity Klein is recommending you DO NOT participate in construction.  But don't worry -- there are outreach projects calling your name!
